The Story of Children Who Witnessed War

“The Tales of The Blue Sky” is an independent documentary by broadcaster, documentarian Vruir Tadevosian. It tells the story of children living in the borderline villages of Artsakh. They were forced to witness life-changing events, tragedy and loss during 44-day war in Artsakh.

Adults are often in denial about what children actually experience during war. By sheltering them, covering their eyes and ears, adults are not actually protecting them from the cruel realities of this world. Children are left feeling alone, struggling to understand the world, and need guidance through their journey. Can we do that collectively? Armenians worldwide have continuously made extensive efforts to help Armenia recover from repeated devastation of wars. However, we must also focus our attention on the needs of our children. They are our future.
