I am currently a junior at Miami Palmetto Senior High School. Since I was 10 years old, I have been collecting character and other brightly designed bandaids for kids undergoing cancer treatment at UM Sylvester Alex's Place. This little act makes a big difference, bringing smiles, laughter, and a little bit of normalcy during an otherwise challenging time. I do this work because my life goal is to be a pediatric oncologist. Until I get there, this is one way that I can help.
