Join us for an evening to support the documentary in-the-making, Erasing
Family, the first film that will reunite families erased by the divorce
Director Ginger Gentile will present never before
from the film, including interviews with ex-alienated children who have
reunited with their parents and cutting edge research on how family
bonds are being systematically erased. It will be a night
of learning and celebrating family reunification and solutions that
work to make divorce healthier for children. Special celebrity guests include Emma Johnson of Wealthy Single Mommy and shared parenting advocate, Best Selling Author Traci L. Slatton whose novel The Year of Loving is about an #erased mom, and Dana Laquidara who is the voice for the alienated child.
The mood will be festive, enhanced by drinks and passed appetizers at the lovely Brazen Tavern, located in the heart of midtown Manhattan. Exclusive silent auction items and door prizes will be offered.
Whether you are a supporter of independent documentaries, a professional who works with the divorcing families or just someone who wants to help kids heal, we welcome you and your friends to a night of celebration that change is in the air.
The documentary "Erasing Family" will shine a light on the most helpless victims of family courts: children. Our story centers on young adult "children" of divorce who reunite with their erased families after years of separation. By investigating their own cases, they reveal how family courts are failing children the world over. The journey lets viewers see how reunification can heal these wounds, inspiring young people to reunite with their families and spurring others to support the growing movement for family court reform. You can learn more, including seeing our past film Erasing Dad and our PSA #Erased Mom, at www.erasingfamily.org
Tickets are only $100 before the event and include a Thank You or dedication to your child or family in the credits of the film. At the door $125.
