Journey with us back to the late 1960s, when Columbia was a brand-new, revolutionary, integrated New City. Inspired by James Rouse’s vision of a “garden where people could grow,” Columbia was intentionally planned to be welcoming to people of all races, ethnicities, income levels, and religions. 

Help us celebrate everything that Columbia was meant to be, everything it is today, and everything it CAN be if we renew Columbia’s vision and commitment to inclusion and opportunity for everyone.
