Camp Pride Tree Registration 2024

Camp Pride Tree is a wonderful experience that we look forward to sharing with the community once again in 2024! Click here to view our recap video from Camp Pride Tree 2023.

Camp Pride Tree 2024 will be held from June 27th–July 1st at Camp Lee Canyon. While we strive to make Camp Pride Tree accessible for youth from all backgrounds, please note that our team may not be equipped to work with campers with more severe medical or psychological needs.

While Camp Pride Tree strives to be as inclusive as possible, ultimately, we rely on the families cooperation to do so. To that end, families are responsible for providing accurate and complete medical, behavioral, allergy, and dietary restriction information critical to their child(ren)’s safe enjoyment and participation in Camp activities. Though we make every effort to accommodate specific campers' needs, in severe situations, we may not be able to do so.

Dietary Restrictions: While we will always offer a vegetarian option, for campers who are vegan we recommend they bring additional packaged food items to supplement meals, as vegan options are limited. Campers with strict dietary allergies will be required to bring their own packaged and labeled food.

Mental Health Concerns: For campers with severe anxiety, depression, sensory challenges, or other mental health concerns, while we will always have a licensed mental health professional on site, it is also important to note that camp can be a very stimulating, loud environment.

Phones/Electronic Devices: In order to enable our ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment, we are asking that NO CELL PHONES or electronic devices be brought to camp. We understand that a break from regular cell phone use will be challenging for some but we feel as though this policy will greatly benefit your camper's ability to remain present. If a camper wishes to communicate with a parent in case of an emergency, there is a phone in the common lodge which may be used ONLY with permission from camp staff. Exceptions may be made to this policy if a camper relies on their phone for any type of mental health support or meditation; however, if a cell phone is used for ANY purpose outside of that, their phone will be confiscated until the end of camp. If you have questions or wish to discuss this policy further, please email [email protected]

Photo/Video Policy: By registering my child for Camp Pride Tree, I also acknowledge that The Pride Tree may photograph, videotape, or otherwise digitally record and use images and/or sound recordings of myself or my child or children (if applicable) to use in any public media, including radio, television, internet, social media, print or in any of the organization’s or its partners’ publications, productions, or posts. I understand that the intended use of such images and information is solely for the purpose of advertising, marketing, fundraising, and/or the promotional and public awareness purposes for the organization. By registering for Camp Pride Tree, I hereby waive any rights or interest in the images or recordings, as contemplated in this release in perpetuity.

I acknowledge that this consent to use images and/or recordings is being made solely for the benefit of the organization and comes without any expectation of monetary compensation or other benefit to me. To the extent that any benefit accrues or might accrue to the organization from the use of images or information, I hereby and forever waive any interest in or claim to such benefits.

I hereby release and forever discharge the organization (including without limitation all corporate affiliates and officers, directors, trustees, donors, employees, agents, and volunteers) from any and all claims, liability, actions, suits, demands, costs, expenses or indebtedness arising out of, related to, or in any way connected with the use of images and materials described herein, and I hereby waive all rights and interest in and to such information and materials.

I further acknowledge that there is no guarantee that any or all of the participants’ images or recordings will be used in any released media. I have been informed that this authorization is voluntary and is subject to revocation at any time, except to the extent that action has been taken in reliance thereon, by notifying the organization in writing at [email protected]
