It's hard to believe, but someone abandoned a litter of puppies in a store parking lot in this life-threatening heat. Fortunately, one of our employees spotted the damaged crate, heard whimpering, and rushed the pups to our shelter for immediate medical care. Luckily, all of the puppies seem to be in stable condition. Had they been out in the heat any longer, their story would have ended much differently.

The pups are around 5 weeks old and currently in foster care receiving extra love and attention. Once they are old enough for vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery, we will need help funding their treatment.

On average, it takes us about $300 to vaccinate, spay/neuter, and microchip one animal when they arrive at the shelter. We are at capacity, and with resources stretching thin, we need adopters, fosters, and donations now more than ever. Any donations toward the puppies' care helps us greatly.

You can save a life with just the touch of a button.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to our amazing donors, fosters, volunteers, and supporters. We couldn't do our lifesaving work without your help. Never doubt your impact!
