The Los Angeles Silent Film Festival will launch in September 2024. The LASFF will celebrate the art, aesthetics, and history of silent film.


The festival will be held on the historic Doheny campus of Mount Saint Mary’s University in their soon-to-be newly restored, state-of-the-art Rose Hills Auditorium. The festival will also feature outdoor screenings and many more special events.


The festival is co-sponsored by The MSMU MFA Program in Film, Television & Photography and Retroformat Silent Films.
