Much Ado About Nothing

Advice To The Players 2023 Education Tour

Advice To The Players presents William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing!

This one’s for the rom-com fans! The story of two couples: one being wants to be together despite everyone trying to pull them apart; the other would rather stay apart while their friends push them together. Add in a deliciously evil schemer, a team of bumbling constables, and a genuinely tragic wedding gone wrong, and enjoy one screwball meditation on love, loyalty, and holy matrimony.

The famous bickering couple Beatrice and Benedict are played by ATTP favorites Lucy Randall-Tapply and Carsey Walker, Jr., with newcomers Jay Baker and Lindsey Brunelle (fresh off her star turn as Margaret in Wars of the Roses) as the ill-fated ingenues. This production is directed by Raphael Massie, a veteran of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

In addition to public performances at Quimby Park, this production will play at a number of schools throughout the Lakes Region and White Mountains. For performances at Quimby Park, we have limited stadium style chairs available, which sit right on the ground. Audience members are encouraged to bring chairs and/or blankets.
