Building Community Capacity with Youth Education
Children Nurtured for Success
Since 2010 Small Solutions Big Ideas along with our partner Rise Kenyan Youth have been building youth leaders and and reaching more than 2,000 children each year with exciting, engaged educational programs. The community and its families now see that there is a future for their children. The parents are now more engaged in school parent groups, a much higher percentage of students are completing Secondary school and scoring near the top of the Primary School exams. There are now more than 20 young Kenyan students who have benefited from the sponsorship of families from Massachusetts. The students form their own peer support groups to improve their studies and participate in activities that build the kind of confidence that builds leadership qualities.
