As The Porch enters its tenth year, we are grateful beyond measure for our patrons, friends, supporters, and community of literary citizens.


We count on supporters like you to help us bring our community together – people of all ages and backgrounds – to create, write, listen deeply, and bring forward the voices we all need to hear. Your charitable donations account for forty percent of our annual revenue and, over the last year, have allowed us to serve:


  • 4,000 Middle Tennesseans and beyond
  • 1,000 youth participants
  • 55 immigrant and refugee participants from 24 countries
  • 120 women in addiction recovery
  • 40 unhoused teens and students
  • and publish over 80 writers through our new literary publication, SWING
