Funding for Housing for At-Risk Military Veterans

Your Donation Helps US Serve Our Military Veterans


Metropolitan AME Church and the Daniel Alexander Payne Community Development are planning to construct residential housing for 28 un-housed, at-risk military veterans in Washington, D.C.  Your donation will help us provide a safe and dignified place to live for military veterans who have bravely served our country.


Using funds provided by Enterprise Community Partners and Wells Fargo Bank, we have made substantial progress in assessing the feasibility of the project, and addressing zoning, historic preservation, and engineering issues.     


Your generous donation will help pay the pre-development costs required to update the architectural drawings and designs that are essential for review and hearings before DC agencies and community organizations, and also allow us to continue moving forward with this transformative affordable housing project.
