Join Community Fruit Rescue, Benevolence Orchard, and Widespread Malus for our Tree Care Workshop on May 6, 2023!

We are beyond grateful for the range of benefits our fruit trees and broader tree canopy afford, in addition to the sustenance (and fun!) harvests bring our community: forage for pollinators, wildlife habitat, carbon sequestration, water storage, cooling of the local microclimate, and more!

In honor of Earth Day, Community Fruit Rescue is again teaming up with Benevolence Orchard & Gardens and Widespread Malus to host a second Fruit Tree Care Workshop. Join us on May 6th to share in the celebration and learn how to care for your fruit tree(s)! The session will cover meeting your trees’ nutritional needs, efficient water use, building resistance to pests and diseases, and how to be a good neighbor to our local black bears (who also love fresh fruit!). We will provide drinks and snacks, and all the necessary tools. Feel free to bring your own gardening gloves.
