Spring 2023 Appeal!
Oddfellows Playhouse celebrates 48 Years!!

Hello Friends!
Our spring season is in full swing! We’re looking back, recognizing the impact of our 48 years of commitment to the young people of our community. We are so proud of the talented kids and teens we serve. Our great team of teaching artists, assistants, directors, designers, volunteers and our wonderful staffers and board work year round to keep our gears turning, but all of this is only possible with your help.
After the devastating effects of the pandemic, we are so grateful that you never forgot about us. Your generosity and support allowed us to continue to provide high quality arts programming for children across Middletown and beyond. We regularly hear amazing stories from alumni from the 80s and 90s who reach out to us so happy to know that we have expanded our programming and continue to serve to our fullest capacity every season! This work matters. Building confidence in young people through the performing arts is instrumental to their socioemotional development, especially after the last few years. Sometimes we have to pinch ourselves that we have the support of so many amazing donors. None of the work we do is possible without your generosity. You all are incredible! Between donations and relief funding the last few years, we were able to keep our doors open during uncertain times, while still providing financial aid for those in need. With the return to “normalcy,” comes an end to Covid relief funding and now we have to sustain ourselves without these special grants. It is such an honor to receive your generous gifts year after year and we humbly ask that this spring, you consider donating to Oddfellows again.
We believe that access to high quality arts education is a right, not a privilege. As long our doors are open, we are committed to serving the young people of Connecticut. Your contributions speak loudly and we are so grateful for your belief in our mission. We cannot wait to see what the rest of this year has in store!
