This unique retreat experience takes participants on a journey through cinema to reflect together on our common human experience and the ability to live empathy. With the practice of cinema divina, lectio divina with film, we enter into the profound longings of humanity's cry for justice and encounter the heroism of those who persevere against all odds.

A retreat is a time for prayer, reflection, and contemplation. This unique experience guides participants on a journey through cinema as we reflect together on our common human experience. With the practice of cinema divina we enter into the Scriptures and film to encounter the heroism of those who persevere against all odds. Offered by the Pauline Center for Media Studies:  www.bemediamindful.org 


Retreat Cost: $130 per person

Fee does not include accommodations; accommodations are not provided. Sunburst Hotel (310-398-7523) and Ramada Inn (310-390-2189) are next door to the Center. You are responsible for making your own reservations and payments.
