Can you believe that April is OVER!!! Where is this year going so fast! It has been a busy “1^st Quarter” for me and things don’t seem to be slowing down. In April, my sweet wife of 29 years (this month) had her left knee replaced. Your thoughts and prayers for her recovery would be greatly appreciated.

As I have been dealing with her being mostly “out of commission” it made me realize how important our knees are. I know for me as a larger individual who has always been active, my knees are an ongoing problem. Our knees are SO VITAL! Having said that, you may often hear me say that we, the Union Gospel Mission, are trying to be the hands and feet of Christ; as we serve those in need.

As much as I stand by that statement, I also believe that you, by your financial support for our work, are being the “knees” of Christ! You see, without knees it would be almost impossible for the “hands and feet” to get to where they need to be to have an impact on others. You, as the “knees”, make it possible for us to provide food, shelter, clothing, and the life-changing programs that we provide!
