Street Reach Indy Fund
HELP PROVIDE A HOUSING SOLUTION TODAY
Street Reach Indy is a community fund designed to raise
awareness and flexible funds to support individuals and families experiencing
homelessness in Indianapolis to overcome financial barriers to housing. This fund
is managed by CHIP and is essential to supporting housing choices and pathways for
those living unhoused in our community. Street Reach Indy fills an important
role in that it provides flexibility to address the various financial needs and
barriers to getting back into stable housing. This fund is reliant on donations
like yours! Every little bit helps. Here are some of the ways Street Reach
funds help impact those experiencing homelessness get back into housing:
- $25 pays for someone to
get their birth certificate or legal documents needed for housing
- $50 pays for an
application fee to housing
- $100 pays for
transportation to be reunited with family in another city
- $250 provides essential moving or furniture costs
- $500 covers a security
deposit
- $1,000 covers a security
deposit and first month’s rent
For someone living unhoused, these expenses can be a matter
of getting housed or not. There is no other community-wide source of flexible
funding like Street Reach Indy that addresses the unique needs and barriers
faced by those experiencing homelessness. If you believe housing is a human
right and that every person has the right to be housed and connected to care,
please support CHIP and support Street Reach Indy.
