The University of Akron Opera Lyric Theatre 2024
Grades 1-6
OPERA—IT’S ELEMENTARY! The University of Akron Opera/Lyric Theatre will present an age-appropriate short children’s Opera Scenes Program, complete with costumes, staging, and props at area elementary schools. The students will be exposed to opera, interact with artists and crew, and learn more about musical terms and musical forms.
Curriculum Connection: Language Arts
Equipment Needed: Tuned piano; well-lit area to perform; place to change clothes for males and females and a microphone.
