June Letter!
Having just come off of an
incredible time where we celebrated 5 men for their Graduation of our programs
and the incredible success stories that they provide; no doubt we are headed
for some challenges! It goes without
saying that with every victory, the battle will still rage on.
In the case of the Union
Gospel Mission, we are battling for the very lives of our clients! We are
battling the pull of addiction, alcoholism, and so many other chains that will
bind those in need. We will battle homelessness, hunger, and the hopelessness
that often comes with them!
As we step into the Heat of
Summer, we will face greater financial needs, while experiencing a downward
trend in giving; it is typical of every summer. Most of you KNOW that what we
offer to those in need will indeed help them find a future worth living, but we
still need your help! As you are able, this summer, would you consider making
June a “Double Gift” month? If you normally give $10, maybe you could give $20
this month?
Regardless of what you give,
at the Union Gospel Mission, we are so incredible grateful for your partnership
