Community Visioning and MHCH Celebration
Thanks so much for joining in our fifth annual Making Housing and Community Happen event! It will take place at the New Life Holiness Church, 2005 N Fair Oaks Avenue, Pasadena, CA. and will consist of two parts. Please register for one or both events as parking and space in the church are limited. Press the "Register Today" button and it will take you to two buttons, one for each event. You can also scroll down to see these two registration buttons.
We hope you'll choose to go to both events and support our organization!
Sunday, Nov. 19, 2:30-5:30 pm
Part 1: A free N. Fair Oaks Community Visioning Event. 2:30-3:30 pm. We will gather outdoors to celebrate the N. Fair Oaks Community—its businesses, religious institutions, and nonprofits—and invite your input to a professional Vision Plan with the goal of shaping the future of this area for the next 20 years. There will be music and fun activities. Because parking is limited, you are encouraged to register for this event.
Part 2: Our Annual MHCH Celebration, 3:30-5:30 pm. There will be music, inspiring speakers, and a cake (actually two cakes) to celebrate the fifth anniversary of Making Housing and Community Happen and the 70th birthday of Jill Shook , co-founder of MHCH. We will bestow Affordable Housing Rock Star Awards on those who've made a significant contribution to affordable housing. This celebration will take place in the sanctuary of the church. To attend this event, please register and make a donation of $25 to support the work of MHCH.
