The Badger Project is 100% nonprofit and paywall-free and mainly relies on donations and grants to pay our journalists.

We encourage you to set up a membership — a recurring, monthly donation — to help us do this important work for the long term!

This is a better option for those who want to make large contributions, because The Badger Project will not have to pay a processing fee. The Badger Project uses The Center for Community Stewardship in Madison as a fiscal sponsor. We have our nonprofit status through them, and so they can provide you with receipts for tax deductions. All donations go through them. Please make checks out to our nonprofit fiscal agent, The Center for Community Stewardship, with “The Badger Project” written in the memo line, and send to:
