Annual Pediatric Conference

"Addressing Challenges in Modern Pediatrics"



Please join us for the 2024 Pediatric Conference, Addressing Challenges in Modern Pediatrics, presented by the PA Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. The conference will be held in-person at the Renaissance Pittsburgh Hotel in Pittsburgh, PA from Saturday, March 9 through Sunday, March 10, 2024.

​This packed weekend brings together pediatric providers from across PA to engage with and learn from one another about recent developments in pediatric health care. Join us for a weekend filled with stimulating conversation around some of the most timely challenges facing pediatricians in the modern era. 

The conference is designed for general pediatricians, pediatric specialists, pediatric residents and advanced-practice practitioners who care for children. Family practice and other interested healthcare professionals are also welcome to attend.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe emerging challenges and obstacles to providing high-quality birth-to-adolescent patient care.
  • Review the latest clinical advances and discuss responsive strategies to evolving challenges faced by pediatricians.
  • Discuss key public health issues facing Pennsylvania children.

Credit Statement:

  • This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Pennsylvania Chapter of the AAP.  The American Academy of Pediatrics is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
  • AAP designates this live activity for a maximum of  10.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
  • This activity is acceptable for a maximum of  10.25 AAP credits. These credits can be applied toward the AAP CME/CPD Award available to Fellows and Candidate Members of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
  • PAs may claim a maximum of  10.25  Category 1 credits for completing this activity. NCCPA accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM  from organizations accredited by the ACCME or a recognized state medical society.
  • This program is accredited  for  10.25  NAPNAP CE contact hours of which 0 hrs contain pharmacology (Rx) content, (0 related to psychopharmacology) (0 hours related to controlled substances), per the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners (NAPNAP) Continuing Education Guidelines.

MOC Statement: 

  • Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the learner to earn up to   10.25   MOC points in the American Board of Pediatrics’ (ABP) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.
