This is a beginner friendly course designed to teach you the basics of spinning your own yarn with a drop spindle. We will start with a little info on fiber prep; the number one way to ensure you have a successful start at spinning is to learn good fiber prep. We will then spend the day learning all of the tips and techniques for getting an evenly spun yarn. Drop spindles are cheap, lightweight, and portable, aka perfect for on the go spinning. No materials required but you may bring your own spindle if you have one you like!
