This is a one day introductory workshop designed to teach you the basics of spinning yarn via a spinning wheel. We will discuss fiber prep and drafting, as well as wheel anatomy and methods for smooth spinning. Praxis has several styles of wheel (Louet, Ashford, Jamieson, e-spinners, A Great Wheel, & more) available for class so you can see which is best for you. No experience required and all materials included.
