BAY-Peace supports and empowers Bay Area youth to transform militarism and other forms of violence through youth organizing and artistic resistance. We offer a holistic youth leadership program that integrates vocational development, artistic expression, socio-political education, community organizing, healing and personal transformation. BAY-Peace provides year-round opportunities for youth to develop leadership skills through vocational development, community organizing and arts activism. Our primary programs include a day-time internship, after-school leadership development program and class residencies. We primarily work with Oakland youth ages 13-21 who are impacted by systems of structural violence, empowering them to transform their lives and communities my creating institutional change.
