Chronic illness affects the entire family.  The support and understanding of others in a similar situation is so important for every member of the family.

So we created what we needed.

We have found that no matter the diagnosis, we have so much in common and so much to offer each other.

The MISSION of It Takes Guts is to support children and their families

as they maneuver through the complex world of pediatric chronic illness.

Our VISION is to create a community that enriches the lives of families through

group gatherings, financial assistance, and our annual Warrior Family Camp.

Illness does not define us, we determine our values and our mindset. 

Although we all walk a very personal journey, we walk it together.
