CLARABELLE (aka Maya)


I'm Clarabelle (aka Maya)

Clarabelle (aka Maya) was originally rescued by Goshala BJ Animal Care. This caring and passionate rescue focuses on ending animal suffering and rehabilitation of cows. Before her rescue, Clarabelle came from a slaughterhouse. She experienced harsh living conditions such as filthy and confined living quarters. When Goshala BJ Animal Care contacted us about her, we gladly welcomed her to the ABAR family. When she arrived at ABAR, she was terrified of humans. That is when her rehabilitation journey began. With the collaborative work of Goshala BJ Animal Care and ABAR, Clarabelle has made great strides and is no longer frightened. This rescue continues to generously support and be involved in Clarabelle's new life. Once she was used to living here at ABAR, we knew it was time to introduce her to Norman, our other cow rescue. Quickly these two have become best friends and bring out the best in one another, making them inseparable.
