The Highlands Ranch Junior Cycling Club (HRJC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth development organization that serves students from schools in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Our purpose is to build strong minds, bodies, and character in a fun, safe, and professional manner from the saddle of a mountain bike. We are guided by the principles of inclusivity and equality.
Donations received by HRJC are distributed to HRJC riders as scholarships. HRJC provides $500 scholarships to selected seniors to use towards college or whatever they choose to pursue after high school. The Julie Ryburn fund also provides loaner bikes and covers fees to be part of HRJC or the Colorado High School Mountain Bike League for riders in need.
Who was Julie? Julie was the original Team Director for HRJC by title, but in reality, she was the heart of the team, bringing love and positive energy to every ride and race weekend. As one of the team parents said, Julie was the light and the glue that put this team together and sustained it's success. We lost Julie to a heart condition in 2019, but her light continues to shine through our team and the work we do to get more kids on bikes and develop young people.
Please give today and through the end of the year to ensure Julie's legacy lives on in 2024 and beyond!
