GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement that unleashes the power of radical generosity around the world. 

GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. The day has 

grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate 

generosity.

Many of us are looking forward to gathering with families this holiday season. Imagine what it is like for 

children placed in foster care – finding themselves in a new home or new school as they cope with the 

trauma of abuse or neglect. Sadly, thousands of children will not be at home this holiday season with the 

only family they know.
