Wasted food stops with us. And it starts by understanding how to make the most of our food.

Join us for the Heart of Hamilton County food distribution and community health fair every 4th Friday of the month at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds. Learn how to store food so that it lasts longer while maximizing its freshness and flavor with a take home Food Storage Guide. Experts provide tips for shopping with a list, one of the best ways to prevent overbuying food that ends up being wasted.

Volunteers will be responsible for organizing and unloading food for set up. Bagging food items, helping to keep order and assisting people to their cars with food items if needed. Please wear comfortable weather appropriate clothing with closed-toed shoes.

The Heart of Hamilton County Health Fair and Food Distribution event is made possible by Hamilton County ReSource and its Wasted Food Stops with Us initiative; the Cincinnati Health Department; Green Umbrella; and the Greater Cincinnati Food Policy Council
