PSMC Church Planting Event

Birthing and Cultivating Peace Communities

April 18-20, 2024

Upland Peace Church, 379 N. Campus Ave., Upland CA 91785

Purpose:

A gathering of PSMC leaders invited to embrace the cultivation of communities of faith and peace as the means to transform the world. Communities shaped by the Reign of God are the preferred way God uses to witness change and transformation in the world. By its very existence, the church is God’s experimental new humanity to advance God’s redemptive purposes in the world. Peace communities incarnate Jesus’ presence by proclaiming the gospel; practicing compassion; empowering leaders and multiplying communities of faith.

We are pleased for the co-sponsorship of this event by Mennonite Mission Network and Everence who have contributed to the hosting of this event, along with resources that have been made available by PSMC through the Missional Task Group. Our goal is to have participation by every pastor/leader in the conference, and thanks to our co-sponsors, we hope to subsidize as much of the cost for participation as possible and have scholarships available so that no one is prevented from participating by reason of cost.

Please note that there is no registration fee, and sponsors are covering several meals and the hotel accommodations.
