OUR ROLE

Urban Hydration partners with WATERisLIFE because we desire to bring hydration to communities in need of clean drinking water. Urban Hydration is best known for hydrating our customers' dry skin and hair, and we joined forces with WATERisLIFE to give back, and hydrate in an even more sustainable way, and on a global scale.

THE CHALLENGE

Every year, over one billion people are harmed by waterborne illnesses. But with the cutting-edge technology we have at our disposition has the potential to kick these diseases out to the curb. Thus, WATERisLIFE’s and Urban Hydration’s collective mission was born: 

1 PRODUCT DONATES 1 GALLON OF WATER = SAFE DRINKING WATER TO 1 BILLION PEOPLE.



THE GOOD JOB



For most of the communities in Africa, having access to safe water is the biggest challenge they face. Not only drinking but sanitation, hygiene and general health and well-being are affected by its lack of availability. The issue is beyond just having water, it is having SAFE water, to hydrate, survive and live a better life. Safe water has many impacts, on safety, education, work, and even economic development. It’s a critical issue, and yet there’s still much to be done. But it needs to be done in the right way, we need to do a good job. 

That is why we will work to have a fully functional water borehole in Kenya, properly drilled, with a good water output, with a solar-powered pump, a big storage tank, and, of course, a top-of-the-line filtration system. A Good Job can cost several thousands of dollars. 



THE WELL DONE.

 Our “Good Job Well Done” Challenge aims to raise USD 30,000 to help build a new waterpoint for a community in Kenya, Africa, based on a well that can change the lives of many.
