Fabrics & 3D Printing

Instructor: Owlet Hourglass

2-Day Workshop: July 13th + 14th | 10am-4pm

Please join Praxis for a new workshop! Over the course of the weekend, we will learn how a 3D printer works, how 3D printed fabric works and its design, how to link together 3D printed swatches, and create a project to bring home at the end! The workshop is open to all skill levels regardless of familiarity with 3D printing or fabric-related art.

Instructor Bio: Owlet Amethyst Hourglass is a mixed-media artist who focuses on 3D printing. As a technician at Case Western Reserve’s think[box] makerspace, Owlet taught visitors about 3D printing techniques and tools—all with a goal of inspiring their excitement and creativity.
