BOHDAN TARASOVETS
We are launching a fundraising project to support kids education in the United States of America. This project aims to provide kids with the knowledge and skills that will help them succeed and prepare them for the future.
Meet one of the participants, Bohdan Tarasovets.

About him
"My name is Bohdan Tarasovets. I was born on September 8, 2006. My father is a pastor at the "Light of the Gospel" church. My mother is an administrator at an English school. I have an older sister currently studying at Hardin Simmons University, Abilene TX, and a younger brother who recently transitioned to secondary school.
Education
Initially, I studied at the Mykhailivska Secondary School until 9th grade. I had a high level in many subjects, regardless of whether they were exact or humanities. I always managed to find a common language with others. I have a good sense of humor and a stable psychological state which allows me to easily fit in. After graduating from 9th grade, I transferred to the Kamyanske Ecological and Economic Lyceum "Camellia", where despite an in-depth study of mathematics, I had quite good results. I found friends and established good relationships with teachers within a short period of time.
Hobbies and achievements
In childhood, I sang in church and played guitar. From 13 years old I became interested in volleyball and played mostly for school, since my small town did not have much development of this sport. Later, after transferring to high school, even though senior high school study took up more time, I still found a way to relax. This is sports. At first, I signed up for volleyball, basketball, and wrestling. After an injury, I took a break of one and a half months. After recovering, I returned to my usual rhythm, but left basketball and wrestling and started devoting more time to volleyball, as I like it.
Subsequently, I got a place in the main junior team playing for our town. We traveled to different cities and regions representing our city. At the end of the season, with the coaches’ consent, I transferred to the senior men's team, as I played at their level. Soon I got a place in the main squad. Despite my sporting achievements, I did not lose high academic performance. I won the biology and ecology olympiad.
Ministry
At the same time with all this, I sang in church and spent time with my family. So passed my 10th grade of high school. This past summer I helped organize a kids' camp at the church for refugees and was a leader in the church camp in the Carpathians, by the Ukrainian mountains, for teenagers from our city. At the end of the summer, I helped as a leader in the Ukrainian Christian Sports Academy.
Dream
Currently, I am in 11th grade and have started wrestling in parallel. I am having success and am preparing for competitions. I do not forget about the church, I plan to develop in ministry and glorify God through the musical instrument kahon. I am also starting to prepare for various olympiads that will take place soon. Since childhood, I have had a dream, and now the goal is to become a trauma surgeon because I really like helping people.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story!"
