Sunrise Walk in aid of Pieta House & Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust
Donations will be split 50/50 between both charities, your support is greatly appreciated for these two worthy causes.
Pieta House:
Pieta House provides a range of services nationally to people who are experiencing thoughts of suicide, those who engage in self-harm, and those bereaved by suicide. All services are provided free of charge, and no referral is needed. Since 2006 Pieta House has seen and helped over 70,000 people in suicidal distress or engaging in self-harm, and established twenty centres across Ireland.
Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust:
The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust aims to alleviate the financial hardship of bereaved families repatriating the body (bodies) of loved one(s) who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances back to Ireland. Since 2013, KBRT has repatriated the remains of over 1800 people back home to their families (as at March 2024).
