Celebrating the richness of shared human experiences, we welcome you to join hands in creating a meaningful connection between the art, artist, and audience. Two Folds Brings the world premiere of two productions - ‘The Maze’ & ‘Finding Joy’.
We seeking to raise $35,000 for The Maze Residency at ODC Theater (September 10-15) and the World Premiere of The Maze and Finding Joy at ODC Theater (September 20-22)
A little more about the two works:
‘The Maze’: The Maze is a devised multidisciplinary solo performance with live music, blending movement, theater, poetry, text, and technology to challenge conventional notions of womanhood. Drawing inspiration from lived experiences and the stories of women navigating patriarchal structures, the work engages the audience with an aim to ignite dialogue in the community about women, body autonomy, and agency.
The Maze has been recognized by the Izzies with an award for Outstanding Achievement in Music, Sound, and Text for its work-in-progress showcase at the Studio 210 Summer Residency.
While the performance itself is kid friendly, the content is best understood by patrons 13 and up.

‘Finding Joy’: Finding Joy is an ensemble work that celebrates the beauty of everyday life, sharing individual experiences of navigating the modern world. Through themes of love, nostalgia, community, and art that bring joy amid the constant pressure of a competitive world, the performance becomes a mirror through which the audience may see parallels with their own lives and experiences.

Through SynergyArts, we also support South Asian dancers creating professional work in their development process and present them at the festival bringing proscenium art forms closer to the audience in a park.
Packed with fun contests, community dance workshops, performances, student-led dance stalls, and stalls offering Indian regional cuisine, the festival is set to leave a lasting impression on the Tri-Valley community and beyond.
