The Kings Mountain Art Fair is an annual event held every Labor Day weekend in our local Kings Mountain Community. The fair is known for its stunning location in the redwoods and its unique offering of fine, eclectic, and local art.


All proceeds from the Fair are used to support the Kings Mountain Volunteer Fire Brigade and local community efforts, including the Venture Free Foundation. The art fair is 100% volunteer run, demonstrating the immense community spirit that is so alive in our small rural community. 


Venture Free Foundation is fortunate to host an art booth in the “locals” Mountain Folk Art section of the fair, where various art created by our Venture Free campers is on display for purchase. Their creations demonstrate a beautiful fusion of the natural world into art, creating pieces that add warmth and organic textures to your home.
