Marcy's story is one of resilience and hope.

When she arrived at WAAL, she was near death, ravaged by malnutrition, yeast issues in her ears, and mange.

Her skin was a testament to her suffering. She smelled terrible and was covered in scabs.

Every move she made stretched infected, broken and bleeding skin, and caused unbearable pain. 

Despite her ordeal, Marcy's gentle demeanor captured our hearts.  Her spirit remained unbroken, and we knew we had to help her.

She is being cared for by a WAAL Foster Family and will be available for adoption when she gets medical clearance.
