$2500 for 25 Years


As Chair of the Lone Star Education Foundation, which funds scholarships for the Miss Texas Organization, my goal is to raise $2500 for scholarships in honor of the 25 years that I have been involved with the Miss America Organization.  As a college student in 1999, I began competing in the program and was able to fund my last year of undergraduate education and two years of a Master's program with scholarships earned.  The Miss America program is an incredible self-development program for young women and rewards young women with educational scholarships for achievement in the areas of public speaking, academics, healthy living, community service, and the performing arts.  Last year at the Miss Texas competition, almost $150,000 in scholarships was awarded to the young women that participated.  Please help me fund my passion by helping to fund scholarships for the incredible young women that compete in our program.
