Help MPJI Raise $100,000 This Pride Season
Donate to Support MPJI & Stand in Solidarity Against ALL Genocide
An uprising of BIPOC trans and LGBTQ+ people against the brutalization of our community is what started the modern-day Pride movement. When our community stands together for a common goal, we are powerful. As the world struggles with the continuation of multiple genocides – including BLACK trans genocide – the Marsha P. Johnson Institute is standing with all oppressed people, nations, and lands. Our PRIDE has always centered BLACK trans people and we will continue to do so and be in solidarity with those whose struggles are bound up in our own.
We’re looking to raise $100,000 by the end of this Pride season to support our mission and are asking you to donate today to take a stand against ALL genocide.
MISSION
The Marsha P. Johnson Institute (MPJI) protects and defends the human rights of BLACK transgender people through advocacy, coalition building, and capacity building. We work to eradicate the systemic, community, and physical violence that silences our community from actualizing freedom, joy, and safety.
VISION
We envision a society where BLACK transgender people live prosperous, abundant, safe, and self-actualized lives.
