Ona Adair was a wonderful volunteer for over a decade with Miss Texas and Miss America as a local and state volunteer. Ona began her interest in the program when her daughter Reed was a tiny toddler with the Miss Houston Organization. Ona was a valuable contributor and support system for the local organization giving her energies to the Miss and Teen titleholders at events in the community and more.

Over the years, Reed became a Lone Star Princess (Lone Star) and a National Princess (Miss America's Little Sisters Program) and Ona became more involved within the organization on the state level. Ona became one of the organizers who assisted the "LSPs" each summer at Miss Texas.

Ona’s character was simply genuine and her love for the organization was apparent in all that she and her family have done to help make the titleholders, princesses, and organization as a whole great! We will miss her enthusiastic spirit and wish to carry on her light and legacy with the pure positivity that she always shared with all who crossed her path.
