June Letter!
Dear Friend,
Are your summer months more busy or less busy? Many people take it a little easier during the summer. Going on vacations, being involved in hobbies, ballgames, or other fun events often make the summer more relaxing. Summer for those who may be experiencing homelessness in Chattanooga is not much fun. Temperatures in the 90’s to 100’s, lack of resources, the stress and fatigue that go along with all of that; contribute to the struggle of summer on the streets.
The Union Gospel Mission offers help and hope to those experiencing these issues. Whether it is a place in one of our residential programs for men, a meal, or even just a cold drink; we want folks to know God loves them, through our simple expression of service.
The Union Gospel Mission can provide for folks in need but only by your help and support. So we ask you to partner with us financially, so we can continue "Meeting Needs, Making Change, and Magnifying Christ!"
Serving Christ and the Community,
Rev. Jon Rector
