End-of-Year Giving 2023
The Future is Bikes
Dear Friends and Fans of the Bike Library,
Exciting news! We are delighted to unveil our refreshed Vision Statement:
"The Bike Library's vision is to empower people to make bicycling a primary form of transportation in our community."
Bicycles play a pivotal role in fostering sustainability, equity, and empowerment, while contributing to a clean environment within our community. They not only help create a more vibrant place to live but are also a crucial element of our transportation infrastructure.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partner organizations, dedicated volunteers, and generous bicycle donors who share our unwavering commitment to turning this vision into reality. The journey ahead is a collaborative effort, and we're mobilizing for transformative change.
To make this vision thrive, we graciously seek your support. Whether it's a one-time contribution or a monthly commitment, your generosity fuels our mission to get more people, from lots of different backgrounds, on bikes. You can send a check or conveniently make a donation on our website. Mail checks to 1222 S. Gilbert Ct. Iowa City, IA 52240 or drop it off at the shop Wed. 12 - 5; Fri. 12 - 5; Sat. 10 - 3.
Mark your calendars: Friday, December 15th, from 7 PM to 10 PM join us for our End-of-Year Celebration. The evening promises max Bike Lib vibes with PhDJ spinning vinyl, two freestyle performances, and delightful food prepared by Marcella. Feel free to bring a dish or drink to share if you have extra. We look forward to celebrating with you.
Your support and presence make a meaningful impact. As a token of our gratitude for making a donation of $150 or more you will receive the 2023 Limited Edition Poster designed by Katlynne Hummell and printed by Alexandra Janezic. Check it out below.
