Remembering Tanner Rico

Memorial costs & love for his family

 

Tanner Rico was an incredible young man with an incredible family. He battled the monster of Duchene Muscular Dystrophy since his birth. Tanner ended his 18-year fight with Duchene Muscular Dystrophy, and 3-year battle with Ewing Sarcoma Cancer on December 9, 2023. So far, Tanner was the only known individual in the US who was battling BOTH Ewing Sarcoma cancer and DMD. His fight required full-time care 24/7 by both his mother and father, Traci & Tony. They spent more days admitted in the hospital than they had in their own home over the past 3+ years. His parents faithfully, lovingly, and willingly gave up everything to care for him around the clock.

 

With Tanner's passing, Traci and Tony have now entered a time of grieving and processing before they essentially start over and must completely reimagine life, jobs, and family with their daughter Pria, who has her own extensive medical challenges.

 

A contribution to this fundraiser would be a tremendous blessing as, we hope to provide the Rico’s with financial provision to cover Tanner's memorial and burial costs along with multiple months of bills so that they can grieve this tremendous loss and complete life change. We know that God multiplies and that every $5, $10, $20, and $100 donation adds up! Thank you for generously giving as God leads.
