All About YOUth Program Coach Workshop

Please join us for the "Best Start: All About YOUth" Program Coaching!

LCFS trains service providers in facilitating the "Best Start: All About YOUth" program (AAY) for youth 11-24 years.

The purpose of the AAY is to help youth recognize and embrace their unique qualities.  The program encourages youth to develop their voice while inspiring and supporting each other using empathy.  Youth learn not only how to strengthen relationships with their peer group, but also with family members including children within their family structure.

Techniques that instill healthy social-emotional and communication skills are practiced and the vital skill of conflict resolution is addressed using restorative practices

During the coaching session, each facilitator will learn to conduct AAY sessions through active participation and relevant interactive discussion.

Special attention will focus on how to make sure youth in your programs “own” their own learning and build self confidence with their strengths and problem-solving skills.
