Honoring Henry #LITLove 2024

During February, Leaders in Training (LIT) takes time to remember and honor Henry Martinez, son of LIT Board Member Jackie Beato, by celebrating his birthday and reminding us to spread #LITLove in our community all year. 

Since 2018, LIT has honored Henry by dedicating our annual Senior Scholarship Celebration in his name, ensuring we remember all the good he would have contributed to the world. Funds raised in Henry's name are used directly as scholarships for our Leaders to ensure they attain post-secondary education and live out his legacy. 

This year, we are supporting Cohort 9, (23) First-Generation High School seniors who attend: Clark High School, CSN High School, East Career & Technical Academy (ECTA), Eldorado High School, Equipo Academy, Las Vegas High School, Mater East Academy, Nevada State High School, Sunrise Mountain High School and Valley High School. With a 100% college acceptance rate, your contribution supports the class of 2024 here in Southern Nevada.

Help ignite #LITLove this month by honoring Henry on what would have been his 8th birthday, to empower every LIT member to live up to Henry's legacy by trying our best, having integrity, contributing positivity, and #LITLove to our world.
