Join us for a fun evening of food, drinks, live music by Timmie Metz Band,
and friends - new and old - as we raise money to help local
recipients. We will be gathering at the Annapolis Market House on Saturday, February 24 from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
Funds raised at the Annapolis Bash will support two Community Betterment Recipients,
The Delgado Family and Experience Camps:
In 2022, Sofia Delgado was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare childhood cancer. Sofia's mom, Kris, is an Anne Arundel County nurse. However, their family had to go down to one income as Kris took time away from work to take care of Sofia, including the management of her hospital stays, outpatient visits, and chemotherapy treatments in Washington, DC. In October 2023, Sofia was fit for leg braces due to chemotherapy-induced weakness in her ankles, but thankfully, she has entered the maintenance phase of her chemotherapy. Sofia just celebrated her 4th birthday!
Help us raise funds to support the Delgado family as they adjust to one income and enter this next phase of Sofia's treatment schedule.
Experience Camps is a national program for grieving children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, or primary caregiver. Your support will allow a local child to attend the week-long Maryland overnight summer camp, which allows children to reframe the experience of grief and empowers them with the necessary coping skills to move forward with their lives.
