Blue Jean Ball Match Challenge by Akel Homes
We are excited to announce that our generous Match Challenge Sponsor for the Blue Jean Ball is none other than Akel Homes. Their commitment to our cause is truly remarkable, and we extend a heartfelt thank you to Akel Homes for their outstanding support.
Blue Jean Ball Challenge
Our premier sponsor, Akel Homes, has issued a special "MATCH" challenge for all those who care about homeless animals. From now until Sunday, February 18th, 2023, Akel Homes will match every donation, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000!
This is an incredible opportunity to double the impact of your contribution and make a lasting difference for the thousands of dogs and cats that pass through our shelter every year. Your support directly contributes to the Humane Society of St. Lucie County's mission, providing compassionate care, safe shelter, and community education on responsible pet ownership.
We are proud to be an official no-kill shelter with the goal of finding good, safe, and loving homes for all the animals in our care since October 2019.

The Blue Jean Ball:
The Humane Society of St. Lucie County, in partnership with our premier sponsor Ben's Pest Control, presents our signature fundraiser, the Blue Jean Ball, held at the MidFlorida Event Center. As the premiere signature fundraiser for our organization, this incredible event significantly benefits the thousands of homeless and abandoned dogs and cats that come through our doors each year.
Last year's event sold out months in advance, showcasing the incredible community support for our cause. The Blue Jean Ball features great food and drinks, music & dancing, live & silent auctions, and casino-style gaming. Early-bird tickets are priced at $125 per person.
