Emergency Medical Care for Tank


Tank was rushed to our vet partner!

We desperately need your support to support Tank, a sweet soul found on the streets covered in wounds. At the shelter, he tested high positive for heartworms, and despite immediate treatment, this weekend brought a devastating turn. Now, Tank battles a severe upper respiratory infection and possibly pneumonia, compromising every breath. He's stopped eating, collapsed in his kennel, gasping for air. We believe his best chance is with immediate TLP care, where he can receive the specialized care and love he desperately needs. We have rushed Tank to our vet partner for further medical intervention—a potential turning point in his journey to recovery. Despite deplorable conditions, Tank remains a sweet boy, gentle and dainty with both humans and other dogs. Let's unite to give him the fighting chance he deserves. Tank goes to a foster home!

January 12, 2024

Great News, Supporters!

Thanks to your incredible and swift donations, Tank received the immediate treatment he needed! Today, he's being released to his foster home, where he'll start his road to recovery.

Tank is doing well, and we're thrilled to share that he has a good prognosis. During his recovery, he'll be in rest and relaxation mode, getting the tender care he so desperately deserves from his foster family.

One small request: Tank will need a humidifier to ensure a smooth recovery at home. Your continued support means the world to us, and we're grateful for each and every one of you who made this possible.
