triTRASHlon 2024

triTRASHlon is a two-day biking, camping, and cleanup event! triTRASHlon 2024 will be held Saturday May 11th-Sunday May 12th. triTRASHletes will meet up on the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) on the morning of the 11th, bike to a dumpsite and riverfront cleanup, and then bike to Cedar Creek campground for dinner and to spend the night. We’ll bike back to our meeting point the next morning. ACW will have a support vehicle to help carry participant supplies or in case of emergency. More detailed information will be provided upon registration. Event is limited to 30 participates so grab your spot early! Participants will need to provide their own transport to and from the event as well as their own bike and camp gear. Participants must be able to comfortably lift 50 lbs repeatedly and bike 20 miles per day. Participants must be at least 16 years of age, and those aged 16-17 will need an adult guardian present for the entire event. Difficulty Level: easy – moderate, no drop ride Total Riding Miles: 20 miles Terrain: Road (<5 miles) and crushed limestone trail with <2% grade Included in your registration cost:

- Meals: Lunch and dinner on Saturday 5/11, breakfast on Sunday 5/12, Snacks and water during ride

- Lodging: campsite for 1 night/pavilion/restrooms/running water

-Recycled kitty litter pannier one per person with goodies inside (works on bikes with a rear rack)

- Bikepacking class at Public Lands 4/18 6:30pm

- Bike triage and Patio Party at Public Lands 5/4 (bring your bike for a quick tune-up) time TBD Please provide your own: - Bike and bike helmet (helmets are required!) - Provide your own breakfast on Saturday - Clothing, camping gear (further details will be provided closer to event) - Transportation to and from the meet-up point
