Junior Gardener 2024

June 10-14, 2024

Designed for ages 9-12, campers will explore compost, soils, and learn how to plant and tend a garden! Your child will participate in fun games, crafts, and daily nature walks around the Garden. All camps take place in our unique garden classroom on 110 acres of natural boreal forest! Expert staff lead campers through fun, hands-on, science-based environmental education activities. All camp materials are provided as well as weekly take-home projects. Adult to camper ratio is 1:9.

Our camps are held outside rain or shine in our tent covered outdoor garden classroom and on nearby trails. Campers staying the full day or enrolled in our morning session should pack a lunch and snacks for each day. Campers joining us for the second half of the day should also pack snacks. All campers need to bring extra clothing layers, water bottle, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, closed-toed shoes (no sandals), and a backpack. Please leave all toys and electronics at home. Books are always welcome.

Full Day camp runs from 8:30am-4:00pm and Half Day camp runs from 8:30am-12:00pm or 12:30-4:00pm. Any changes to your child's drop-off or pick-up times must be made at least 24 hours in advance in writing or in person to the Camp Director, Stacey Shriner.

Flexible Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change. Cancellations made on or before May 1st, 2024 will receive a full refund minus a $40 cancellation fee. No refunds given after May 1st.
